With all of the budgets introduced and the arrival of another key cutoff date, the 2023 legislative session officially enters crunch time this week. With the arrival of the fiscal committee cutoff Tuesday, bills sent over from the House that did not pass out of Ways & Means or Transportation can no longer be considered this session. Wednesday marks the beginning of a long stretch of floor action that culminates with opposite house cutoff on April 12.

The Senate will begin a long stretch of floor action Wednesday morning, leading up to opposite house floor cutoff which arrives at 5 pm on the following Wednesday, April 12.
