With committee cutoffs in the rearview, attention turns to floor action in the morning, noon and sometimes night. The fun starts Monday morning as the Senate will consider policies to make housing more affordable, health care more available, education more inclusive, the air more breathable and the water more drinkable.

Floor action continues this week ahead of Wednesday's opposite house cutoff.

Monday-Saturday

The Senate will begin long periods of floor action Monday morning and work throughout the week (and possibly Saturday), debating and passing bills ahead of House of Origin cutoff, which arrives at 5 pm on Wednesday, March 8. That day marks the last time bills without a fiscal impact introduced in the Senate or House can be considered in the chamber in which they originated.
