E-newsletter: Back in session and more accessible than ever!

Friends and neighbors,

We have officially kicked off the 2023 legislative session and I’m honored to be serving as your senator in the 21st District for another term. After a few years of remote sessions due to COVID-19, I’m eager to be back in person with my colleagues this year to pass bills that will support communities in the 21st District and across the state.

As this session is underway, your feedback is a crucial part of the democratic process. I encourage you to stay in touch with my office and to make your voice heard with some of the resources outlined below.

Make your voice heard

Your input is an essential part of the democratic process, and we value all the feedback that we receive from our constituents.

Even though we’re back in person this year, you can still testify in front of committee from the comfort of your own home. Click here to find out all the ways you can make your voice heard in Olympia – both virtually and in person.

I would also like to encourage everyone to reach out to my office with bill ideas. The legislative process begins with you, and many of the requests we receive from constituents like you end up becoming the laws that govern all of Washington. So please, if there is an issue that you are passionate about or a change you’d like to see made in our state, reach out and let’s work together![/vc_column_text]

Stay in touch

You can always reach out to my office with feedback and questions. Whether you want to meet with us in person or over a Zoom meeting, we welcome your input. Reach out to us here – we look forward to getting in touch with you and working with you on the issues you care about!

As we’re working our way through the 105-day legislative session, I also encourage you to stay up to date with the work happening in Olympia. To stay in the loop about my priorities for the year, follow along on my legislative website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.

All my best,
