Sen. Hasegawa amends the 2023 state budget to help sell Washington goods in international markets

Sen. Bob Hasegawa speaks to and passes an amendment to SB 5187, the 2023-25 state operating budget, to provide money to help improve representation of Washington industries in international markets. The Department of Commerce would be required to work with the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises to help ensure equity in the promotion of Washington businesses abroad.
