Sen. Emily Alvarado was appointed to the Senate in 2025 after serving two years in the House of Representatives.

22^nd Legislative District – Olympia
Sen. Jessica Bateman represents Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and northern Thurston County.

24^th Legislative District – Port Angeles
Sen. Mike Chapman represents Clallam, Jefferson and Grays Harbor counties on the Olympic Peninsula.

49^th Legislative District - Vancouver
Annette brings over 30 years of legislative and public policy experience to the Legislature. First elected to the Senate in 2012, she was re-elected to a third four-year term in November 2020. Her priorities include support for early learning and quality education, adequate access to health care, and investment in critical infrastructure to better ensure a strong future for our state. As a wife and mom, she provides a strong voice for women’s rights and working families.

29^th Legislative District – Tacoma
Having served the 29th District as a State Representative for 18 years, Steve is now the Democratic senator for the Pierce County district that includes South Tacoma, East Lakewood and Parkland. He is the ranking member for the Senate Commerce & Labor Committee and also serves on the Senate Ways & Means and Government Operations Committees.

18^th Legislative District – Battle Ground
Sen. Adrian Cortes represents includes Battle Ground, Felida, Salmon Creek, Hazel Dell, Orchards, and parts of unincorporated Brush Prairie.

45^th Legislative District – Redmond

Manka Dhingra is Deputy Majority Leader of the Washington State Senate. She brings two decades of experience as a prosecutor and behavioral health expert to her role as chair of the Senate Law & Justice Committee. She also serves on the the Environment, Energy & Technology and Ways & Means committees.

36^th Legislative District - Seattle
Noel Frame has represented the people of the 36th District as their state senator since January 2023 after serving as state representative since 2016. Noel takes on many of the toughest challenges facing our state – reforming our criminal legal system, building more affordable housing, strengthening and investing in the diverse communities that make up Washington state, balancing our tax code, and more.

23^rd Legislative District – Bainbridge Island
Drew joined the Senate in 2023. He previously served in the House of Representatives for 12 years where he chaired the House Civil Rights & Judiciary Committee and the House Higher Education Committee. He has led successful efforts passing a landmark free college tuition law, the nation’s first state-level net neutrality law, and remains focused on opening up opportunities for people in Kitsap County to get trained for good jobs that support their families.

11^th Legislative District – Seattle
Bob is a longtime labor and social justice activist. He led many workers struggles, winning top wages and benefits for working families and retirees, and he collaborated in many social justice struggles to protect civil rights, democracy, the environment and our constitutional rights.

26th Legislative District – Gig Harbor
Deborah Krishnadasan was appointed to the Washington State Senate in December 2024 and is proud to serve the people of Gig Harbor, Key Peninsula, Port Orchard, and Bremerton. She is vice chair of the State Government, Tribal Affairs & Elections and Agriculture & Natural Resources Committees, and a member on the Early Learning & K-12 Education and Transportation Committees.

47^th Legislative District – Kent
Sen. Claudia Kauffman was sworn into the Washington State Senate in January 2023. A resident of Kent for over 20 years, Kauffman previously served as the elected senator for the 47th District from 2007-11. Kauffman is a fierce advocate for legislation and policy to protect children, address equity, and improve public education in Washington.

21^st Legislative District – Edmonds
Marko was appointed to the House of Representatives in 2008. In 2014, he was appointed to the Senate, where he’s currently serving his third term. Throughout his service in the Legislature, he has focused on policies to build an economy that works for everyone and to create strong pathways to education and opportunity, while ensuring a focus on equity and social justice for all Washingtonians.

40^th Legislative District – Anacortes
Sen. Lovelett was appointed to the Senate in 2019. As a fifth generation Anacortes resident, Liz is rooted and invested in the 40th District. She has served as a community leader, championing affordable housing, water management, school construction, oil train safety, and improving lives for people in her community.

44^th Legislative District – Mill Creek
Sen. Lovick was appointed to the Senate in 2021. During his long career in public service, he's served on the Mill Creek City Council, House of Representatives, Snohomish County Sheriff and Snohomish County Executive. He was a 31 year veteran of the State Patrol and also spent 13 years in the U.S. Coast Guard.

28^th Legislative District – Fircrest
Sen. T'wina Nobles brings two decades of experience in education and community leadership to her role as chair of the Higher Education & Workforce Development Committee as well as vice chair of the Early Learning & K-12 Education Committee. She also sits on the Transportation Committee.

33^rd Legislative District – Des Moines
Sen. Tina Orwall represents east Burien, Normandy Park, SeaTac, Des Moines and parts of Kent, Tukwila, and Renton

43^rd Legislative District – Seattle
Jamie Pedersen grew up in Puyallup, graduated from Puyallup High School and worked at McDonald’s to help put himself through Yale College, where he studied Russian and history, and graduated summa cum laude.

5^th Legislative District – Issaquah
Sen. Bill Ramos proudly represents the 5th Legislative District, which includes Black Diamond, Issaquah, Maple Valley, Renton, Sammamish, and Snoqualmie, and unincorporated areas in Auburn, Enumclaw, Covington, Fall City, Hobart, North Bend and Preston.

3^rd Legislative District - Spokane
Born and raised in Spokane, Sen. Marcus Riccelli has represented the 3rd Legislative District since 2012. He was elected to the Senate in 2024 after 12 years in the House and serves as Majority Floor Leader.

38^th Legislative District – Everett
June Robinson was appointed to the Senate in May 2020 after serving in the House of Representatives for more than six years. She has a life-long commitment to public service, with years of experience working to improve public health and alleviate health disparities in rural and disenfranchised communities.

37^th Legislative District – Seattle
Rebecca was appointed to her seat in 2016. Known as a problem solver and tireless advocate, Rebecca most recently served as the Executive Director for Puget Sound Sage – a nonprofit that promotes affordable and equitable housing and transportation policies, environmental justice and workers’ rights.

32^nd Legislative District – Shoreline
As a part-time public defense attorney, a former deputy mayor and Shoreline city councilmember and a former child welfare prosecutor, Jesse Salomon brings a deep and varied resume to his role as senator. His priorities are to address critical needs in education, promote the creation of livable wage jobs, protect the environment, and practice fiscal accountability.

42nd Legislative District - Bellingham

Sen. Sharon Shewmake was sworn into office on Dec. 9, 2022 and is the first Democrat to represent the 42nd District in two decades. She serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Transportation Committee and on the Senate Housing Committee and the Senate Agriculture, Water, Natural Resources & Parks Committee.

48^th Legislative District – Bellevue
Sen. Vandana Slatter represents parts of Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland and all of Clyde Hill, Medina, Yarrow Point and Hunts Point.

1^st Legislative District – Bothell
Derek Stanford served in the Washington House of Representatives from 2011-2019, before being appointed to the Senate. He earned a PhD in Statistics at the University of Washington, Currently, Sen. Stanford runs a small business specializing in analytics solutions and statistical consulting. Previously, he has served as director of analytics at several companies.

27^th Legislative District – Tacoma
Sen. Yasmin Trudeau was appointed to serve the 27th Legislative District on Nov. 2, 2021. Learn more about the senator and her appointment. Trudeau previously served as the legislative director for the Washington State Attorney General’s Office.

46^th Legislative District – Seattle
Javier Valdez is the proud son and grandson of farmworkers and laborers. Javier has worked for the City of Seattle for over 20 years, where he currently serves as a senior equity and inclusion advisor with the City of Seattle Finance and Administrative Services Department. Javier is vice chair of the State Government & Elections Committee and also serves on the Law & Justice and Transportation committees.

41^st Legislative District – Mercer Island
Lisa was elected to the Senate in 2016 after a 25-year career in technology and marketing including executive level positions in Fortune 100 companies. A passionate advocate for education, Lisa began her career as a public school teacher but changed course in the 1980s becoming a systems analyst and programmer.

30^th Legislative District – Auburn
Claire Wilson has represented the people of the 30th District since 2018. She is in her second year as chair of the Human Services Committee and is proud to serve as vice chair of the Early Learning and K-12 Committee. She is also a member of the Transportation Committee, Rules Committee and holds the role of Assistant Majority Whip.
