Friends, neighbors –

We’ve made it through House of Origin cut-off and are back at it in committee – hearing bills sent over by the House, gathering our neighbors’ stories through remote public testimony, honing in on the most effective policies. After a busy couple weeks of all-day floor action, I’m excited to catch you up on the work we’ve done in this first half of session and on the work still to come!

So thrilled to share that SEVEN (7!) of my bills made it through the Senate – nearly all of them with broad bipartisan support. These policies have been fine-tuned and championed by our neighbors all over the state: health professionals and students, administrators at colleges and at med schools, patients and providers. I’m honored to cheer these on at the legislature.

Want to get the full post-cut-off scoop? Watch our most recent Leadership Media Avail! I joined Senate Majority Leader Andy Billig, and our House Leadership colleagues – Rep. Pat Sullivan and Rep. Jesse Johnson – for a 30-minute overview of the first half of session. CLICK HERE or on the image above to see my recent post with the link to watch!

We are all eager to hear from you about your priorities. I hope you’ll follow me on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter so you can see what we’re up to. And please feel free to reach out anytime at 360-786-7650 or Emily.Randall@leg.wa.gov. The more we hear from you, the better our work in Olympia can reflect our shared values and goals.

All my best,
