Senate Bill 5417 won final passage in the Washington State Senate and now moves on to the governor’s desk for signature. Sen. Mark Mullet, D-Issaquah, released the following statement:
“This bill is a great step forward for the people and the city of Maple Valley. I couldn’t be happier that so many of my colleagues in the House and Senate agreed.
“For years, the possible development of the Summit Place Donut Hole has been a question mark for the city. Today that area is one step closer to being a real part of Maple Valley.
“I look forward to seeing this bill through to the finish for the people and the city.”
