OLYMPIA – Sen. Mike Chapman was sworn in Friday to serve in the Washington State Senate representing the 24th Legislative District, which includes Clallam, Jefferson and Grays Harbor Counties on the Olympic Peninsula. Chapman replaces former Sen. About Sen. Mike Chapman
Mike Chapman served for a decade as a local law enforcement officer and U.S. Customs Inspector. He then served four terms as a Clallam County Commissioner.
He received his master’s degree in Leadership and Liberal Studies from Duquesne University, his bachelor’s in Organizational Management from Northwest College and his Associates of Arts and Sciences from Shoreline College.
Mike currently chairs the Senate Agriculture & Natural Resources Committee and also serves on the Transportation and Health & Long-Term Care Committees. He will also serve as Deputy Chair of the Capital Budget team.
Mike lives in Port Angeles with his wife, Bobbi. They have two grown sons.
