The chair of the Senate Agriculture, Water, Natural Resources & Parks Committee, Kevin also serves on the Senate Ways & Means Committee and the Senate Health & Long Term Care Committee.

As chair of the House Capital Budget Committee, Steve helps write the state’s capital investment budget, which builds schools, colleges, parks and other state facilities plus making investments in our natural resources. He also serves on the Health Care and Wellness and Appropriations committees.

Mike Chapman served for a decade as a local law enforcement officer and U.S. Customs Inspector. He then served four terms as a Clallam County Commissioner. He received his master’s degree in Leadership and Liberal Studies from Duquesne University, his bachelor’s in Organizational Management from Northwest College and his Associates of Arts and Sciences from Shoreline College.
