Friends, neighbors —

#1: Summer is officially underway, and so are my community coffee hours! ☕️

Here is the schedule so far:

3-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 18 – Cups Espresso and Café, 409 Pacific Ave. in Bremerton

3-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 25 – Kimball Coffeehouse, 6659 Kimball Dr. in Gig Harbor

4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8 – Mustard Seed Project, 9016 154th Ave. Ct. NW in Lakebay

4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22 – Port Orchard Library, 87 Sidney Ave. in Port Orchard

I hope you’ll join me to share your thoughts, ask any questions, or simply listen to other neighbors during this chat. Can’t wait to get together for our first one on Tuesday!

#2: Meet Madeline, my new legislative assistant! While new to the role, she is no stranger to our team (or district!). Madeline served as my session aide in 2023, so you may already recognize her from visits to our office in Olympia or zoom meetings. She helps coordinate with stakeholders and neighbors as we craft legislation, schedules meetings, and oversees correspondence, so we can make sure our work reflects the needs and goals of neighbors like you.

Let’s continue to be partners in the work to build the Washington state we want to live in. Keep emailing me 📨 at Emily.Randall@leg.wa.gov, sharing your stories with me 📞 at 360-786-7650, and by following along 📲 on Facebook and Instagram. And be sure to forward this newsletter to your friends and family to ensure they stay updated on all our progress!
