Friends, neighbors –
Thank you to all those who chimed in on my Community Coffee Hours survey to let me know how I can make this year’s gatherings – whether in person or virtual – most accessible and helpful. With your input and availability in mind, we’ve scheduled our first in-person Community Coffee Hour of the year! Join me on July 14 from 3pm to 5pm at Jerisich Dock in Gig Harbor and bring your questions, comments, and (maybe an iced) coffee! Please also bring your mask – we’ll be sitting outside, masks on, while we chat!
Here’s what the rest of the summer’s Community Coffee Hour schedule will look like:
- On the 2nd Wednesday of every month, we’ll have an in-person coffee hour at different locations throughout the district.
- On the 4th Thursday of every month, we’ll have a virtual coffee hour featuring different thought leaders in our community.
Stay tuned for location and time specifics! I’ll be posting those on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and sending out updates beforehand straight to your inbox.
As a reminder: I am always eager to hear from you about your priorities. I hope you’ll follow me on social media so you can see what we’re up to, and please feel free to reach out anytime at 360-786-7650 or Emily.Randall@leg.wa.gov. The more we hear from you, the better our work in Olympia can reflect our shared values and goals.
All my best,
