Dear friends and neighbors,

The 2025 legislative session is just around the corner, and I am honored and excited to continue championing our communities’ priorities.

I am elated to share I’ve been selected to chair the Senate Business, Financial Services & Trade Committee! As chair, I’m committed to advancing policies that strengthen our economy, support small businesses, and create opportunities for all Washingtonians.

I’ll also serve on the Ways & Means and State Government, Tribal Affairs & Elections committees, while continuing as the caucus’s Leadership Liaison to Tribal Nations.

LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES

Economic Prosperity

I am focused on boosting our economy by prioritizing workforce development and ensuring small businesses have the support they need. By investing in training and education, we can prepare Washingtonians for future job opportunities and meet local industry needs. Supporting small businesses with essential resources empowers them to grow and succeed.

Safety for All

Building safe, healthy communities through a strong commitment to public safety and transportation safety is one of my top priorities. Keeping our neighborhoods and businesses secure and ensuring safe roads and transit systems is essential for trust and peace of mind.

Building Healthier Communities

Our aging and disabled neighbors deserve to live with dignity, surrounded by the resources and support that enable them to thrive. By prioritizing policies that enhance accessibility and provide necessary resources, we can build a stronger, more inclusive community. This ensures everyone has the opportunity to live full, healthy lives.
