Dear friends and neighbors,

Thank you to everyone who attended our in-person 46th Legislative District town hall. It was great to see so many of you, hear your perspectives, and connect on the issues that matter most to our community. I appreciate your continued engagement and involvement.

Your input is an important part of the work I do. The 2026 legislative session came to a close in March, and I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve you in the Senate. While the session has ended, the work continues as we prepare for the months ahead and the next legislative session.

Election year restrictions

I also want to share an important update. Election year restrictions on official legislative communications begin on May 4. This means that until around Thanksgiving, I won’t be able to send e-newsletters or post updates through my official Senate website or legislative social media accounts.

Please know that my office will remain open and ready to assist you. If you have questions, ideas or concerns, I encourage you to reach out. You can contact me by email at javier.valdez@leg.wa.gov or by phone at (360) 786-7690.

While my official website and social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram and X, will not be updated during this period, they will remain available for general information.

Thank you again for your engagement and the opportunity to serve our community.

Sincerely,

Sen. Javier Valdez
