Creating a healthier community
I was proud to join community leaders earlier this month to celebrate the groundbreaking of the P.A.T.H. (Prevention, Assessment, Treatment, and Healing) Crisis Relief and Sobering Center. I led efforts in the Legislature to secure $3.7 million in funding to help build this facility that will improve the overall health of our community by offering compassionate and effective behavioral health and substance use treatment system.
