Dear friends and neighbors,
Now that the 2026 legislative session has officially concluded, I’ve put together a report summarizing all the great work we achieved this year. You should be receiving a printed copy in your mailbox. If you haven’t received it, or you’d rather read it online, click here or on the image below.
In the newsletter, you’ll find information about the bills passed this session, including five of my own, as well as the budget investments you’ll be seeing across our district. The newsletter also includes links to several resources, such as flood-related federal disaster assistance, free asthma interventions for King County kids, home foreclosure prevention help, property tax exemption information for seniors and people with disabilities, and the 988 lifeline. I hope you’ll find these resources helpful.
Election year communication restrictions

I’m so honored and fortunate to work for you every day as your state senator. Although the work will continue, the way I’m able to communicate with you for the next several months will be changing.
Election year restrictions on official legislative communications begin on May 4, meaning that until the election results are certified this winter, I won’t be able to reach out to you via my newsletter or provide updates through my official Senate website or Facebook page.
However, I can still respond to calls and emails, so don’t hesitate to contact my office if you have questions about any legislative issue, have feedback, or just want to say hello. My office is also available to help resolve issues with state agencies or connect you to resources. You can reach me at Tina.Orwall@leg.wa.gov or 360-786-7664. I hope to hear from you!
Sincerely,
