Senate bill 6272<\/a> will help level the playing field between auto manufacturers and dealers in franchise agreements. Sen. Mark Mullet<\/a>, D-Issaquah, today released the following statement in support of legislation that passed in the Washington State Senate last night:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe electric car community did a great job in bringing their concerns to the Legislature. Their example shows that when we work together we can get things done to come to an agreement and create better policy.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs one of the states with the highest number of electric cars in use, we should be encouraging the industry\u2019s growth so they can further expand the number of electric cars in the market. Being the first Tesla owner in Washington state, I\u2019m pleased we were able to fix the bill in order to help Tesla and other auto dealers and manufacturers grow in our state.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
