Legislators from districts across the state were busy during this year’s Washington State Legislative Session, collectively introducing nearly 1,200 bills and sending around 340 bills to Gov. Jay Inslee’s desk.

With the conclusion of the legislative session on March 7, the Anacortes American reached out to legislators representing the 40th Legislative District, Rep. Alex Ramel, Rep. Debra Lekanoff and Sen. Liz Lovelett, for their insights and reflections on the session.
