Hello neighbors,
I’m hosting two coffee chats this Sunday, Dec. 14, and you’re invited! With the 2026 legislative session around the corner, I want to hear from you about your priorities and the issues that concern you most.
Please join me Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Rosehill Community Center (304 Lincoln Ave, Mukilteo, WA 98275) or from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. at the Edmonds Waterfront Center (220 Railroad Ave Box 717, Edmonds, WA 98020).
If you can’t make it, I’d still love to hear from you. Email me at Marko.Liias@leg.wa.gov with your priorities, concerns, or suggestions.
Resources to help you stay informed about flooding
We’re seeing major flooding across Snohomish County, and conditions aren’t expected to improve until this weekend. Flood conditions can change quickly, and it’s important to stay informed so you can stay safe. Here are some helpful resources:
- Sign up for SnoCoAlerts to get emergency flood notifications.
- Monitor the Snohomish County Public Safety Hub for important updates and resources, including where to get sandbags, shelter information, emergency stabling, and more.
- Check the Snohomish County Real-Time Flood Information System to get real-time river level and rainfall depth information.
- Check the Snohomish County road closure map before driving.
- Check the public utility district outage map for updates about outages.
Stay informed, stay prepared, and most importantly, stay safe!
