Dear friends and neighbors,
The 2026 legislative session is just around the corner, and I am honored and excited to continue championing our communities’ priorities in Olympia.
I would love to hear from you — please reach out to share the questions, concerns, and issues most important to you and your family. Your engagement helps me better represent the 47th Legislative District and is absolutely essential to this work.
2026 LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES
Putting Families and Small Businesses First
Every person deserves a fair and trustworthy marketplace. As chair of the Senate Business, Financial Services & Trade Committee, I am advancing stronger consumer protections and transparency so families and small businesses can thrive. This work strengthens confidence and economic wellbeing across our state.
Building Safer, Stronger Communities
Honoring and preserving our cultural resources uplifts all of us. As the Senate Democrats Leadership Liaison to Tribal Nations, I am strengthening consultation, supporting Tribal sovereignty, and protecting the lands, languages, and sacred places that define who we are.
Honoring and Protecting Cultural Heritage
This work helps ensure every community’s story continues with pride and respect.
Safe, welcoming communities are essential to a strong Washington. I am supporting solutions that prevent harm, reduce impaired and distracted driving, and help first responders keep people safe. By improving our roads and focusing on prevention, we can build neighborhoods where everyone feels protected and able to thrive.
