Small businesses are the backbone of our community. I hope everyone will take a moment to think about how you can support your local small businesses.<\/p>\n

And to our local small business owners and entrepreneurs \u2013 I hope you will join me for my third annual Small Business Roundtable on Oct. 5. We will talk about what the Legislature has been doing to support small businesses during the pandemic, resources available through the state Department of Commerce, and the concerns and challenges that small businesses are facing and brainstorm solutions together.<\/p>\n

We will be joined by Marie Davis, a senior policy advisor with the Department of Commerce, who will talk about state resources for small businesses.<\/p>\n
