I gave a brief legislative update, and our special guest,\u00a0Assessor John Wilson, gave a presentation and answered questions about the new senior property tax exemption I sponsored in the Legislature. It provides $20 million in property tax relief so that seniors and people with disabilities can stay in their own homes. Applications for exemptions are up 186% this year.
