REDMOND – Sen. Manka Dhingra (D-Redmond) will host a second annual roundtable discussion on reducing barriers to success for small business.

“Last year, we had a terrific meeting with lots of ideas and input from new entrepreneurs,” said Dhingra. “This year, we’ll build on that success and focus on helping small businesses weather the COVID-19 pandemic—and what public and private resources can help.”

Open to all small business owners and entrepreneurs in the 45th legislative district, the roundtable is an opportunity to learn more about steps the Legislature has taken to protect our small businesses during the pandemic, hear from credit unions about resources for small businesses, and ask questions and collaborate on ideas to reduce barriers to success.

Three guests from local credit unions will provide their expertise:

  • Dana Gray, Senior Vice President of Commercial and Business Services, BECU
  • Angelica Partida Doty, Small Business Development Manager, Seattle Credit Union
  • John Benner, Commercial Loan Officer, Verity Credit Union

The roundtable will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at 4:30 pm on Zoom. RSVP required. RSVP at http://bit.ly/45LDSmallBusiness or contact ashley.jackson@leg.wa.gov with questions.
