Updates to child support enforcement statutes signed into law

Senate Bill 5793, requires that any Veterans' Affairs benefits that are apportioned to pay child support on behalf of a veteran's child must be credited to the satisfaction of the veteran's child support obligation. Legislation to help City of Tacoma signed into law

Gov. Jay Inslee signed Senate Bill 5249 into law on Saturday, April 25. Under the bill, cities and counties (the City of Tacoma) will no longer be required to issue bonds for local revitalization financing projects costing less than $150,000.
