A newly signed bill is bringing property tax relief to approximately 50,000 individuals across Washington State. Governor Ferguson signed SB 6162 Monday afternoon, to go into effect for the 2027 tax year. The law raises income exemptions for property taxes, allowing more people 61 and older to qualify for relief. Read more here.
