The 2026 legislative session enters its last full week with the conclusion of fiscal committee work in Ways & Means and Transportation on Monday, giving way to a long stretch of floor action starting Tuesday and culminating Friday with the arrival of opposite house cutoff at 5 p.m. At that point, bills sent over by the House without a fiscal or budget implementation impact can no longer be considered this session.

The Senate is expected to return to the floor on Saturday to begin the concurrence process to consider Senate bills amended by the House.
