The 2025 legislative session is coming to a crescendo with just two weeks left and opposite house cutoff arriving 5 p.m. Wednesday. At that point, any House bills in the Senate and Senate bills in the House are done for the year, except legislation necessary to implement the budget. Floor action continues Thursday as the concurrence and dispute process begins and the two chambers will either agree to or work through any differences with amended bills.
