With well over a third of the 2025 legislative session now in the rearview, this week will see an increase in floor action and the arrival of fiscal cutoff Friday, the final day the Ways & Means and Transportation Committees have to pass policy bills that originated in the senate.

The Transportation Committee will hear public testimony on Senate Bill 5773, a bipartisan plan to revamp Washington’s existing public private partnership laws.
