OLYMPIA — Gov. Bob Ferguson signed legislation to improve access to birth control Tuesday. Senate Bill 5498, sponsored by Sen. Emily Alvarado (D-West Seattle), ensures people can access a one-year supply of birth control upon initial prescription.
